As we kept heading south, the humidity and temperature kept rising. As a northerner, I thought North Carolina was bad, but NO! A variety of 6 hour rides in an RV that only has AC 75% of the time and cannot be running when we are low on gas or when someone is using the microwave.
All I can say is that my 6 days on that RV I was...

for a majority of that time.
Other than that though, Scott Roby, the lead guitarist in the band, converted the RV from a Queen bed in the back to 5 bunks. IT WAS GENIUS! BUT.... the first few days, the bunks weren't finished. Luckily, the Prowess Tribe helped us out and hosted us at their houses while we finished the RV. On the road, between the venues, Scott and Kenny (the bassist) were hammering and cutting cots to fit into the welded metal frames of the RV. It truly was a site to see! Though it was a crazy adventure to get them done, when they were.... THEY WERE AMAZING! Scott had thought ahead and instead of using a mat and wood crossbars, he used Coleman cots that were held up by springs, which felt like clouds and gave plenty of give in the bunks. The only draw back was waking up to Kenny's butt in my face from the bunk above me, not something I want to wake up to....
